Poem: Delicate faith
Nomitkon, Tajikistan |
Roasting the vegetables in
olive oil
thyme
rosemary
the scent is the passion of patience.
our cheeks
flushing pink
while
drinking
the
longest wavelength
spiced
with
clove
cinnamon
nutmeg
the food
is plenty,
and we are
warm,
in our
little corner of the world
how
blessed are we,
how blessed
are we,
we break
bread
like we
are family.
