poem: IUD
興梠 優護 Yugo Kohrogi |
The upshot is
I feel your cervix
Two fingers
Eyes roll back
I was made of pain
Red rose, touch me and feel my name
The storm in my lower stomach reminds me
That in order to refute any future hurt
I must experience this mind numbing, very female lobotomy.
Heaving my lunch over my bed.
While I curse the men and their freedom
Womb debase me
Exposes me to pain unimaginable
But to have and to hold
A bonnie wee lassie
What if I ignore her?
Will she roll and play dead?
