poem: the vibes are hopelessly right

Good Will Hunting

In this love I am calmer than I have ever been
He sends me kisses in the post
I lick the pages clean

Love is the spit.

This love is seagulls and English beaches
Walking down London lanes
Planes go by
They don’t know I am in love.

This love is kisses on my forehead
Kisses on our cheeks
knuckles
I can taste him now yes

Whom can you bathe in water?
Whom can you share a look from across the room
And both know what is being thought

I can hear the light making a noise
It sounds like a lover humming a tune.

Love and light
That would be see me through
If I ever walk down to Brighton beach with stones in my pocket
Just know this;

I have loved and been loved. I have had my fill, I have had enough.
