Poem: Strong-Willed
Colin Pantall |
Saving is futile behaviour,
An action wanted but not followed by strength of will
Nazi Germany push back
Postcards power dropped with the strength of a mountain uprooted
Cracked plan, the force wasn’t in favour yet
Sorry the cycle still spins
In the eye of the tornado telling
Amount to nothing ladies
Neck red gradient to purple with time
Mama be better
No hurt here but be better
Punches thrown but no glass tongue mama
I can’t bear it, cuts to clean with alcohol.
Love is gauze, its sticks
Think it infects.
Love is gold reserved for the happy
Happy can be with pleasure
That will do.
Be my daddy, be my mother
Lie.
